As the district continues to plan and prepare for the 2020-2021 school year, teachers at Pattonville High School attended an in-person extended learning opportunity today to be trained on Canvas, the new learning management system for students.

High school teachers are transitioning from Moodle to Canvas and learned some basic skills such as setting up a course, organizing content, adding and linking files, creating assignments and quizzes, and using the communication tools.

All teachers from across the district will receive training on virtual instruction before school begins. Any virtual instruction offered in the new school year will have more robust instruction, student expectations and teacher supports than the emergency virtual instruction of last spring.
