Board Actions

The board of education on Dec. 8:

  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s teaching and learning program; read the report and view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $657,876.43 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of November 2020;
  • Approved paying $421,683.28 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a 1% rebate (or $4,216.83);
  • Declared a list of property as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com website;
  • Approved an amendment to the current agreement between the Pattonville National Education Association (PNEA) and the Pattonville Board of Education regarding Policy GCN-R (Evaluation of Certificated Staff);
  • Approved paying $2,274.50 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved revisions to policies IGBC (Parent/Family Involvement in Instructional and Other Programs), IGBCB (Programs for Migratory Students), IGBD (At Risk Students) and IGBH (Alternative School Programs) and the recession of Policy IGBHA (English to Speakers of Other Languages);
  • Approved purchasing 15 Apple MacBook Air laptops and 3 iPads for $23,630;
  • Approved the renewal of the district's property and liability insurance which includes general liability, buses, school board liability, workers' compensation, treasurer's bond and cyber and pollution liability with MUSIC (Missouri United School Insurance Council) for $1,182,423;
  • Approved purchasing fitness equipment for the high school from Advanced Exercise for $23,850;
  • Approved purchasing 140 Apple TVs from Apple Inc. for $20,860;
  • Approved purchasing six large mobile monitors and one screen replacement for Holman and Pattonville Heights middle schools from Kansas City Audio-Visual (KCAV) for $15,867.26; and
  • Approved purchasing mobile monitors and screens for the elementary schools from Kansas City Audio-Visual (KCAV) for $79,912.44.
